Scholarly work for the world we live in
Science has always been my passion. It has lead me to ask questions about our lived environments, how we interact with them, the human mind and the way we learn. I am a life long learner but what I have discovered so far, Iām sharing with our future educators and current students.
I am a scientist, a mathematician and an educational researcher. My academic path is not conventional and what I learned along the way I share everyday in a university setting. If I can reach more students, women, students from historically marginalized communities to offer pathways for seeing their potential and guidance on their academic and professional journey, that is my way of impacting the real world - it is my activist work.
Are you curious about the world? In awe of nature, technology, our universe and life? Do you question our influence and search for purpose? Do you reflect on the nature of science, the construction of scientific knowledge and your place in a woke & conscious world?
